Britt Moran and Emiliano Salci of DIMOREGALLERY stage a cutting-edge conceptual, ironic, and highly impactful site specific installation for Mazzoleni Art. The unexpected and layered set up will showcase extra-ordinary objects, design pieces and paintings. The concept has been formed from suggestions that are found in Britt Moran and Emiliano Salci’s eclectic energy, a constantly evolving creative explosion.
The exhibition space is designed to amaze and to provoke: five rooms, hidden behind walls catch the visitors‘ eye, inviting them to observe through a porthole with brass detailing. A voyeuristic act, of indiscreetly peeping into inhabited, color redolent, plush interiors, where classic and contemporary mix to perfection. The set up mixes conventional and unexpected objects, as one would expect to find in a lived-in environment. It deliberately eschews conventional categories, a typical trait of the duo’s creativity.
An outdoor space, a study, a bedroom, a bathroom and a living room, five distinct rooms, full of contrasts: edgy, streamlined furniture, cool textures, carpets, antique objects, contemporary art paintings, lights, old and new trinkets, bold and saturated colors dominate the unconventional set up.
